When we look at your yard we see things a little differently. We don't see lawns and flower beds or even driveways. We see spaces to grow food. We want to transform your yard into a space that feeds you. We call this foodscaping.
Yards full of turf grass, annual plants and foreign bushes require lots of water and maintenance. With recent years of drought and increasing concern about water usage, we want to create a water-efficient landscape. We see roofs, lawns and the space between your edible plants as a canvas for capturing resources and restoring native and adapted plants that require little to no maintenance.
We want to create more community where we can share our knowledge and skills with each other. We offer workshops,social networking tools, groups and articles from local experts to help connect you to each other and good information through the Edible Lawns Community.
